Tales From Alerazia

Peace is in no small quantity for Rainer Belleros. He has lived his whole life as the eldest of three children, and next in line to inherit the family farm. Today, however, brings something new. In this visual novel, you will get to live out Rainer's adventures through the Aereos Empire as you gain friends and fight foes. Will you attempt to save the empire from it's ruler, lead it to ruin, or escape and leave it to it's own devices. Can the Emperor be saved, or can peace only be found in his death? One thing is for certain: Rainer will be the one to determine the outcome, even if he doesn't know it yet.

Tales From Alerazia is a visual novel which will incorporate RPG elements, and have six romancable characters. All romance options in this visual novel are gay. 

THE CAST SO FAR :

Rainer Bellerose : Rainer is a red wolf who has lived his life on his family's farm since he was born. He's lived a peaceful life up until now, tending crops and livestock or going to Haywood with his father to sell the farms products. What Rainer never knew was that his family held a contract with an ancient dire wolf, and he was next in line to inherit the powers promised.

Surak : Surak is a dire wolf (based on the Vancouver Island wolf) that was left to die millennia ago, but survived through the powerful magic of the first Bellerose. In the contract, Surak was promised immortality in return for serving the Bellerose family as their guardian. He has the ability to change into different forms, including weapons, and inherited certain magics through this contract so he could properly protect his charge.

Louvel Ahlrok : Louvel is a snow wolf with a troubled past. He won't say much, but if you look closely you may catch extra shadows clinging to his own.

Tales From Alerazia started out as a few short stories I wrote about two years ago, but more recently (about a month or two ago) I though it might be fun to change it up a bit and make it into a visual novel. The story is based on a DnD setting that I have created, but it's been changed slightly to fit the world I am trying to build.
